Hello Everyone, its me Nitin Saini
MeCricketHello everyone, I am Nitin Saini. I am from Haryana, India. I am 19 years old. I am perusing Business Administration Diploma program at Yukon University. I am an international student in Yukon University. I had done my high school from Father’s International School in non-medical (science) in my home country India.
My hobbies are playing and watching cricket, playing video games and listening to music when I am free from my work or study. My father bought me a computer when I was 15. It was the first time I have used computer. Soon I started playing video games and it develops my interests in virtual games. Talking about music, I listen to music mostly at night. Music is a way for me for the relaxation of mind and for boosting my mood. Moreover, the hobby that describes me at greater extent is playing and watching cricket. I love to play cricket from my childhood days as I it is the most popular sport in India and people are really crazy about watching and playing cricket. I am also passionate to develop my skills in cricket by watching live cricket matches. My friend and I used to play cricket a lot in our summer vacations and also on weekends. Domestic cricket in India is named as Indian Premiere League (IPL) which is like a festival for cricket fans in which players from different countries play together as a team.
Now everyone is not familiar with cricket. So, I have mentioned below some info about what actually cricket is
Cricket is a bat and ball game played between two teams, 11 players each, on a field which has a rectangular 22-yard-long pitch in the centre. The game is played by 120 million players world-wide making it the second most popular sport in the world. The purpose of the game is to score more runs than your opposing team.
A Cricket match is divided into periods called innings. It is decided before the game begins, if both teams will have one or two innings. During the innings one team bats while the other fields. All 11 players on the fielding team are on the pitch at the same time however only two batsmen are the field at any one time.
Team captains toss a coin to decide who should bat first.
Cricket fields tend to be oval in shape. The end which is marked off is called the boundary, with the rectangle “pitch” in the centre.
At each end of the pitch are the wickets, 22 yards apart. A bowling crease is in line with the wicket and the batting or popping crease is 4ft in front of the wicket. For more info you can visit the link of the site I have mentioned below:
